I was on my way to Dumaguete City, Philippines when it hit me, is there a widget to locate me in this part of the world? Here’s one for the Mac OS X. It would have been good if I could try this on my XP system.
Here’s what it can do and what you can use it for:
Live GPS Tracking uses Google Maps as a moving map background. Users can configure various properties such as color, tracklength, etc., using their free magnalox user account. Uses loxtrax as mobile conterpart on a PDA or smartphone, available from www.magnalox.net/loxtrax. A Java application for Symbian-based mobile phones is also available.

I like widgets. It makes my net surfing better. I get the latest tabs on stuff am interested. I can’t use all of them of course. It’s going to be hell if I did.
There are many widgets as there are witches (no pun intended) and they serve many purpose. They’re like a swiss knife. You could get the latest weather, stock market, email and etc.
This widgets directory will search for useful ones and will highlight maybe one or two per week. That’s if am not so buried with online work. I don’t like to put just any widgets just to get a google ranking up there. I want to have good widgets listing. It’ll be handy for me too because this blog/directory will serve as my keeper.
Of course all of you can use the search and use anything you are interested in here.
So, Welcome and get ready for your widgets directory!
